Birth with Joy

I I have been teaching since 2000 and have taught over 100 couples. Like all certified Bradley Method instructors, I completed about 1.5 years' worth of training, including a week-long seminar and hours of reading and written work.

But even before that, my training began when my husband and I took a series of Bradley classes and had our first Bradley-born baby in 1999. We have since had two more Bradley births, both at home.

I live in Collingswood, NJ, with my husband, Eric, and three sons.

How I Teach

My approach as a childbirth educator is to instill in you and your partner a
belief in the normalcy of birth and strengthen your trust in the process. I
believe in replacing fear with knowledge to foster relaxation and confidence. I
do not subscribe to a pass/fail mentality. My greatest hope for my students is a
high degree of birth satisfaction: that you have the birth that is right for your
family. I want you both to feel that you had the power and information to make
the right choices and get the experience that is ideal for you. I bring to class
absolute faith in the birth process and a sense of humor.
